Old Northam Railway Station

Established circa 1900 the Old Northam Railway Station was once a hive of activity, with the railway being a major transport method for Northam.

Today the Old Railway Station no longer operates as a Railway Station, closing in 1966 when a new Eastern Railway route opened.

The Old Railway Station is being used as a Museum which has 1,200 items and a Steam Locomotive Pmr721 (plus carriages) open to the public for viewing.

In 2011 a Cultural Precinct was established at the Old Northam Railway Station. Six local community groups are associated with the Community Precinct; they are:

*Northam & Districts Historical Society Inc.
